Op Borealis 09 - 2026/03/21

Situation

With the Sahrani government and senior military leadership now recovered, we are able to coordinate directly with the Royal Armed Corps of Sahrani (RACS). During Op Borealis, operations were conducted with a more fragmented picture, which limited coordination. With leadership restored, command and control is now more stable, allowing for clearer deconfliction across the battlespace, reducing the risk of friendly clashes, and enabling more effective joint operations.

SLA forces are assessed to be conducting a fighting withdrawal toward Corazol. They are concentrating their combat power around the capital while holding the western approaches to maintain their logistics routes and cross-border movement. This follows the same pattern seen during Op Borealis 05, where they established defensive lines around key areas to delay advances . Their aim is to hold onto supply corridors for as long as possible while slowing momentum. PJHQ forces are tasked with pushing north to the border, disrupting these positions, and retaking southern Sahrani territory, focusing on OBJ Heresy Delta and Echo.

40 Commando and 47 Commando will deploy across the border to engage SLA positions in depth, targeting staging areas and reinforcement routes before they can influence the main fight. The aim is to disrupt enemy movement and logistics, limiting their ability to build combat power. This will help isolate Corazol by cutting off reinforcement routes and preventing SLA units from regrouping or launching counter-attacks into recaptured areas.

Intelligence recovered during Op Borealis 08 confirms that Toska PMC, led by Malenkov, is involved in a major weapons deal, with Malenkov expected to attend in person. This ties into earlier intelligence showing the SLA exploiting financial networks to generate funding, which is likely being used to support this transaction. Further intel suggests these funds were intended as payment to Toska. This supports the assessment that the SLA are using stolen or redirected assets to rebuild their capability through external support. The scale of the deal, including weapons, components, and production material, suggests an effort to establish longer-term self-sufficiency, which would significantly increase their capability if not disrupted.

Acknowledgements

  • Civilian populations in southern Sahrani are generally friendly toward coalition and loyalist forces and have begun actively resisting the presence of SLA extremists while attempting to avoid direct involvement in fighting.

  • Civilians in northern Sahrani remain politically divided, with some supporting the emerging extremist movement while the majority previously expressed support for the peace talks conducted in Finland.

  • Elements of the Royal Army Corps of Sahrani remain disorganised following government stand-down orders, though several units continue to resist SLA advances and conduct limited defensive or irregular operations.

Commanders intent

The intent of this operation is to provide decisive support to RACS and the Kingdom of Sahrani as they regroup, facilitating the systematic recovery of southern territory and the neutralisation of SLA pockets within Dolores, Ortego and Corazol. Simultaneously, we will prioritise the development of actionable intelligence regarding the Malenkov weapons deal at the Bagango Quarry staging area, identifying key personnel and assets to set the conditions for a follow-on raid to dismantle the SLA’s external logistical and arms network.
