Op Shrouded Lance 03 - 2025/09/27

Situation

Recce and HUMINT have confirmed that demolition teams have been moving explosives and demolition charges into the northern approaches of the principal road bridge just north of Bojanovice (grid ~086 077). Emplaced charges and specialist demolition equipment were observed in concealment near the bridge abutments during a limited ISTAR pass; combined with intercepted NOVA/NNDF radio traffic, this strongly indicates an NNDF intent to render the bridge unusable to slow or deny further advances south. Personnel identification confirms the presence of demolition specialist Ales Cerne, assessed to be the on-site demolition supervisor. The presence of Cerne increases the probability the emplacement is deliberate and professionally prepared, likely with secondary measures to prevent reconstruction of the bridge if captured.

ISTAR place a reinforced NNDF company-sized element massed in and around a large farmhouse (suspected logistics node) located between the towns of Cernic and Vlkonice. The position (OBJ Typhoon) is being used as a forward staging and logistics hub — emplacements, armour, and secure casualty/munitions holding areas have been identified. Enemy posture indicates preparation for both defensive operations to block our advance and the capability to execute attacks to the north. 2 PARA and RTR tasking to clear and neutralise the farm complex is required to prevent the NNDF from stabilising a southern blocking line.

We have verified the identities of two engineers linked to the ballistic/missile program who are present in-country and associated with the project lead / research cells. Their names for cross-referencing and targeting/denial operations are: Charles Ashcroft and Edvard Petrovič. Capture or positive identification of either individual is high value: both have ties to the imported guidance-computer shipments and to local engineering workshops used for integration work.

• Civilians in rural areas are likely to be neutral or supportive of our presence however civilians to the south in built up cities are die hard supporters of their current government and military.
• Novagorija National Defence Force [NNDF] has access to newer equipment although a majority of their personnel may lack in-depth knowledge. As such most of their advance Anti Air positions are located south, mainly securing major cities, military installations and main airbase. Manpads and AAA guns are still employed across the region in key areas. 

Commanders intent

The intent of this operation is to establish a secure foothold in-country to enable subsequent, deeper intelligence gathering and targeted strikes. Our primary focus is two-fold: first, to locate the ballistic missile guidance computers that have been shipped into Novihrastova and prevent their research and integration into any weapons systems; and second, to track down the members of the NOVA team responsible for the Hungary convoy ambush, with the objective of locating and recovering the stolen equipment.
