Rügen Situation Report

The President of Novihrastova, Lavrencij Krečič, was confirmed to have been exfiltrated covertly from Novihrastova by a Private Military Company (PMC) identified as Toska. The German island of Rügen was confirmed to have sustained widespread attacks with Toska personnel securing pockets of the island. While no clear intents have been established, it is J-2's anticipation that they are using the attacks to open movement corridors to enable Krečič's exfiltration. German Bundeswehr have established security along coastal connections to Rügen this includes suspending the car-ferry between Stahlbrode and Glewitz following the German government declaring a state of emergency. Through collective efforts of responding NATO Forces; it was identified that Lavrencij Krečič was successfully exfiltrated during the conflict to the Danish island of Bornholm.

A presumed Toska-operated Naval Vessel within the Baltic Sea has also been noted to be actively outputting jamming signals, using Electronic Warfare (EW) to mask activity, large-scale loss of signal and electronic interference include Germany's Rügen, Denmark's Bornholm and Sweden's Ystad. This is being investigated by the Royal Navy to ascertain where the source of the signals are coming from. Prior to hostile actions in Rügen, confirmed OSINT and IMINT were received indicating Toska personnel making landfall via civilian vessels within the east of the island. This includes the likely manipulation of maritime port systems to covertly insert light-armour and mechanised assets into the island without flagging. UK Commando Forces (UKCF) tracking Lavrencij Krečič have been confirmed to be rotated into supporting the recapture of Rügen ontop of their priority objective. SIGINT acquired through collective actions by NATO Forces point to a maritime freight vessel, the Storm Petrel, to be responsible for the output of Electronic Warfare (EW). The vessel itself is operated by Cormorant Freight, a suspected shell company of Toska.

British Army units supporting EXERCISE TRACJETORY 2025 were rotated to support the overall effort. This includes 2nd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment and 12 Troop, Royal Tank Regiment. Supporting rotary and fixed wing assets are being deployed at the discretion of the Joint Aviation Command (JAC). These assets are now being transferred to Bornholm to formulate intervention Task-Force "BALTIC RESPONSE" alongside elements of the Royal Danish Army and U.S Special Operations Command (SOCOM).

Bornholm Situation Report

The Danish Island of Bornholm was among multiple territories that suffered from largescale jamming and electronic disruption. The source being identified as to come from a Cormorant Freight vessel, the Storm Petrel. Following disruption of the Petrel's Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities it has been confirmed that Toska PMC have established a foothold on the island. Lavrencij Krečič has been confirmed to be on location residing within the town of Aakirkeby, further intelligence suggests that specialist elements of Toska have withdrawn to Bornholm undetected. Alongside this, Toska have been confirmed to have developed portable suitcase devices carrying the same chemical payload found in Ballistic Missile systems captured during Operation Shrouded Lance, this includes schematic information provided by Edvard Petrovič. A total of three devices, one secured by NATO troops, were developed.

Estimates place that Toska have established a presence in Bornholm at the same time first reports of conflict in Rügen were made. Efforts to signal for assistance by defending Military and Police personnel in Bornholm were prevented by the Electronic Warfare coordinated by the Storm Petrel. Observations by air patrols coordinated by the U.S Air Force report that the island is actively contested, indicating that the presence in Bornholm was to facilitate the relocation of Lavrencij Krečič

History of Toska PMC

Toska (Yearning in English), is a Russian Private Military Corporation founded in Engels, Russia. Initially established to service security for logistics firms operating within Central Asia, it later expanded to asset and individual protection services during the height of the global war on terrorism. The company's founder and staff are largely made up of former Russian and Belarussian service members with experience in Central Asia and West Africa. Though at the time no connections to the Kremlin were established, the company received a monetary injection that expanded its services and arsenal to support worldwide deployments. It is believed that the anonymous donation was provided by a Russian Oligarch to support the contractor. Toska has been loosely affiliated with the freight company Cormorant as well as several transatlantic cargo services in Central and South America.

For a period in the mid to late 2010s, Toska was featured alongside Wagner Group in West Africa to support Russian interests in the region. Their partnership with Wagner PMC ended after the failed capture of an oil field in 2018 when U.S Special Forces fought off the two PMCs of which resulted in heavy casualties for Toska. The CEO; Viktor Malenkov, was suspected to have been killed in the assault however he was later seen in late-2023 arriving at Altis International Airport to support a political runnerup for the presidency.

Despite Russia's commitment to Ukraine, Toska has maintained no involvement in any capacity since the start of the conflict. However, during actions in Novihrastova: MAB-2 (UKSF, SAS) confirmed Toska's involvement with supporting Russia's Federal Security Service [FSB] in delivering supplies to the defending Novagorija National Defence Force [NNDF]. Exploitation of material found by Royal Marines also confirmed Toska's involvement in exfiltrating the President of Novihrastova, Lavrencij Krečič, during concluding actions in the country.
