Situation

~~WIP~~Most Toska elements across northern and western Ruegen have begun a controlled withdrawal toward pre-designated evacuation points. Light garrisons and improvised fortifications continue to delay our forces and Bundeswehr pushes long enough for remaining personnel to reinforce the southern evacuation structure. This behaviour is consistent with the coordinated island wide fallback directed from OBJ Thebes, where intel confirms the formal order for full evacuation to Bornholm. These delaying actions provide the time needed to construct stronger defensive belts around the withdrawal corridors. Based on current reporting the command element overseeing this drawdown is establishing a temporary headquarters inside Ostseebad Binz to synchronise all remaining movements across Ruegen.

The monastery on the southern Thiessow peninsula has been confirmed by 04C as the final secure foothold for Toska’s upper echelon. According to the same intel the population of Thiessow was moved into the monastery, and the road leading to it was stripped to allow aircraft to land. Reconnaissance now verifies the creation of an improvised runway roughly eight hundred metres east of the structure along a straight road segment. This runway is being prepared to lift out the remaining officers responsible for directing the Ruegen operation. Toska expects only one or two aircraft to successfully reach the peninsula which makes the site a priority objective before the senior leadership can depart.

The locations of both a southern radio jammer and a northern maritime evacuation point have been confirmed in Ostseebad Sellin. Their placement aligns with earlier jammer activity seen at OBJs Argos and Angron and is intended to protect the evacuation effort by masking communications and delaying detection. Intel in 04D confirms that Toska has secured a foothold in Aakirkeby on Bornholm and has installed Krečič to begin political negotiations while reinforcing the coastline. The withdrawal of personnel from Ruegen is intended to create eastern beachheads on Bornholm to support future supply lines. If Toska succeeds in reinforcing Bornholm their manpower, logistics and defensive posture will be significantly improved which will in turn any follow on operations more difficult. Preventing these evacuations is therefore essential to degrading their remaining combat capability.

CIVPOP are friendly and should mostly be cooperative with many of them fleeing to safety of nearby towns and police.
We have credible intel that CIVPOP are being rounded up and held as hostage. Identifying possible buildings used to detain hostages should be conducted before any major assault.

Commanders intent

Intent of Operation Veritable is to assault key positions held by Toska within the Ruegen region while gathering intelligence to their motives and goals while assisting the Bundeswehr in reclaiming the region while they deal with other points of contention across their coastline with follow on tasking's generated by intelligence to target key individuals, namely Viktor Malenkov. Secondary intent is to locate and capture Lavrencij Krečič so he can be extradited back to Novihrastova and face trial by it's interim government and people.
