Situation

SIGINT intercepts and ISTAR feeds confirm that a UK/Bundeswehr logistics convoy travelling along the MSR south of Brandshagen was ambushed by a Toska element operating within the town. Emergency radio traffic from surviving personnel indicated the use of sustained small arms and RPG fire, disabling several vehicles and cutting off the main route. Concurrently, German troops regrouping at the ad hoc outpost south of Brandshagen came under indirect fire (IDF) preventing immediate support or recovery operations at the overpass. Current assessments indicate Toska forces are exploiting the resulting chaos to draw attention away from the front line while remaining Toska forces dig in.

Following repeated communication dropouts and field confirmation of Toska using signal jamming at key network nodes, analysis of tuning patterns and spectrum interference has revealed two jammer locations within the southern AO. These sites appear to be undergoing frequency calibration to expand Toska’s electronic coverage, disrupting both German and UK comms within the area. Disabling these positions will be critical to restoring communication and coordination across the area of operations.

A small Toska detachment—likely a signals and coordination team responsible for monitoring jammer output and relaying target data for indirect fire—was identified by satellite imagery unloading electronic equipment inside a fortified compound marked as OBJ Delphi. The group is believed to be working in conjunction with mortar teams that engaged the German outpost near Brandshagen. Intercepted communications suggest this compound serves as a local relay node and logistics point for Toska’s southern operations, and must be seized to prevent further coordination of hostile fire missions.

Recent SIGINT and satellite imagery confirm that Toska forces have occupied and fortified a central administrative building within the town of Gartz, repurposing it as a headquarters and coordination hub, designated OBJ Athens. This site is assessed to be the southern C2 node overseeing Toska’s operations on Ruegen, linking both the jamming network, logistics and mortar elements in the area. Seizing Athens will significantly degrade Toska’s command structure and provide actionable intelligence on wider operational intent across the island.

We have credible intel that CIVPOP are being rounded up and held as hostage. Identifying possible buildings used to detain hostages should be conducted before any major assault.

Commanders intent

Intent of Operation Veritable is to identify and assault key positions held by Toska within the Ruegen region while gathering intelligence to their motives and goals. Assisting the Bundeswehr in reclaiming the region while they deal with other points of contention across their coastline. Secondary intent is to locate and capture Lavrencij Krečič so he can be extradited back to Novihrastova and face trial by it's interim government and people.
