Op Veritable 01 - 2025/11/01

Situation

Toska PMC elements have been recorded mobilising towards Ruegen Airfield, likely aiming to secure it as a rapid resupply point. The airfield’s inland position offers both protection from naval interdiction and a faster throughput than any existing coastal offload points. Recent imagery confirms convoys moving equipment and personnel onto the site, with defensive emplacements and light armour observed establishing perimeter control. It is assessed that Toska intends to operationalise the airstrip within hours to facilitate sustained operations and logistical resupply deeper inland.

During the night, a Toska convoy was observed travelling along the E251 highway towards Stralsund, unloading motorised elements and establishing fortified positions in Altefähr and Rambin. German ISTAR platforms we're knocked out by significant electronic interference, with visual confirmation of enemy forces occupying key junctions east of the Stralsund bridge before sensor contact was lost. The 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment (2 PARA) is being rapidly deployed to secure the bridgehead and prevent Toska forces from consolidating control of the crossing. Follow-on tasks will involve clearing the garrisoned towns to restore German control and open the approach to the east allowing further operations against Toska.

Due to the rapid pace of enemy movements and ongoing communications disruption caused by electronic warfare from Toska’s naval assets in the Baltic, intelligence remains limited and fragmented. Civilian populations across Ruegen have been caught within the active combat zones, with multiple confirmed reports indicating that Toska personnel are rounding up and detaining civilians as hostages within their occupied positions. This tactic is likely being employed both to deter direct assault and cause delayed responses. Units are to proceed with heightened caution and prioritise identification and safeguarding of civilian hostages throughout all objectives.

  • CIVPOP are friendly and should mostly be cooperative with many of them fleeing to safety of nearby towns and police.
  • We have credible intel that CIVPOP are being rounded up and held as hostage. Identifying possible buildings used to detain hostages should be conducted before any major assault.

Commanders intent

Intent of Operation Veritable is to identify and assault key positions held by Toska within the Ruegen region while gathering intelligence to their motives and goals. Assisting the Bundeswehr in reclaiming the region while they deal with other points of contention across their coastline. Secondary intent is to locate and capture Lavrencij Krečič so he can be extradited back to Novihrastova and face trial by it's interim government and people.

  • [OBJ Crown Alpha] Raid and dismantle the captured airfield to prevent Toska using it for reinforcements and resupply.
  • [OBJ Crown Bravo] Raid the supporting supply depot and support assets in the area.

2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment & 63AASS

  • [OBJ Scepter] Defend the bridge by intercepting the incoming Toska troop movement. 
  • [OBJ Throne Alpha] Clear the town of Altefaehr and surrounding Toska positions.
  • [OBJ Throne Bravo] Clear the town of Rambin and surrounding Toska positions.

Royal Tank Regiment

  • [OBJ Scepter] Assist 2PARA in defence of the bridge.
  • [OBJ Throne Alpha] Hold the east side of the bridge and provide cover for Infantry forces clearing towns.
  • [OBJ Throne Bravo] Advance east and assist 2PARA during their town clearance.
