Situation

~~WIP~~Intelligence confirms at least two distinct sites associated with the Novihrastova ballistic missile effort, a research laboratory and a nearby construction/assembly complex. The priority is to consolidate and hold the newly established frontline while conducting precision strikes against the airfield runway and hangars that support rapid NNDF sortie and logistics operations. Concurrently, infantry elements will strike nearby NNDF infrastructure to disrupt command, movement and local resupply; units will exploit that momentum to conduct deeper follow-on penetrations into NNDF-held terrain with the objective of locating the laboratory, its personnel and materiel. Note: follow-up collection has verified the laboratory is not located at the previously suspected defunct radar installation.

Personnel status from the Hungarian convoy action, three of the four NOVA operators involved in the raid are confirmed KIA. The sole survivor is the team medic; his current location and status are unknown. He remains our last identified link to the convoy’s captured supplies and efforts to locate or intercept him must be treated as high priority for exploitation of the supply trail.

Current signals intelligence and ISTAR corroborate a concentrated NNDF force massing in Zichovice. Assessment indicates this force is postured to exploit a western advance over the bridges near Cepice and to exert pressure on the recently established frontline; this presents an elevated risk of a coordinated counter-attack or flanking manoeuvre that could sever our forward positions if not contested or interdicted.

Codename "Shepherd" has transmitted an emergency, unencrypted broadcast requesting immediate assistance. With NNDF elements already closing on his compound, he has deliberately abandoned encryption and any COMSEC in a last-ditch attempt to prevent capture. His transmission should be treated as an urgent indicator of imminent engagement and a potential source of time-sensitive human intelligence if contact or extraction can be achieved.

Civilians in rural areas are likely to be neutral or supportive of our presence however civilians to the south in built up cities are die hard supporters of their current government and military.
Novagorija National Defence Force [NNDF] has access to newer equipment although a majority of their personnel may lack in-depth knowledge. As such most of their advance Anti Air positions are located south, mainly securing major cities, military installations and main airbase. Manpads and AAA guns are still employed across the region in key areas.

Commanders intent

The intent of the following operations is to consolidate and exploit our established foothold by maintaining relentless offensive pressure and continuing persistent intelligence collection to enable decisive follow-on actions, with three NOVA members already eliminated and one surviving Hungarian raid participant identified as the team medic, shift to a singular priority of locating and neutralising the threat posed by the ballistic missile guidance computers, identify the research laboratory, the assembly/construction site, and the two named researchers (Charles Ashcroft and Edvard Petrovič) already revealed by prior intelligence, and where possible, recover the equipment stolen in the Hungary convoy ambush while protecting friendly forces and preserving the operational tempo.
