First Introduction: 

Born in the waning years of the Yugoslav Wars, Petrovič learned to hide from the pain of the aftermath of war with study. With his head stuck in books, he let no opportunity to broaden his horizons through lucrative scholarships slip him by - Starting in Moscow, he eventually secured a lucrative position at a Swiss university. He studied hard and networked with professionals in the field for years before achieving a PhD, graduating alongside Charles Ashcroft, a man with whom he shared a deep mutual respect. A few years after leaving university and moving permanently to Switzerland, he was approached by a representative of the Novihrastovan government. Speculation from inside circles he once moved in suggest he was given an ultimatum, not an offer.
